More than 25 years ago, Captain Planet and the Planeteers sparked imaginations around the world as the world's first and only Cartoon show about an eco-superhero. The show had an A-list cast of stars such as Whoopi Goldberg, LeVar Burton, Jeff Goldblum, and Meg Ryan, just to name a few. It won numerous awards and skyrocketed to the top slot for children's programming.
What resulted was a generation of people with an enriched, enhanced worldview, who continue to live as Planeteers in their daily lives. Planeteers all over the world have formed a network that combines their powers to work for positive environmental and social change.
